This is the year progressive house was at it's prime... it was pure, underground, and untainted!
This is the best progressive mix i have ever heard, and i have listened to thousands over the years!
I am working on finishing the tracklist to this classic my which is posted in the track ID forum if you can help id some of the tunes.
and the links are alive and well (from page 21). very nice. too bad real progressive house is generally overshadowed by 2000's prog.

What's wrong with 2000 era prog? Most of us grew up with it. I still find tracks like Atmos - Raumwelt Signal and Castor & Pollux - Serenity (JF Sebastian's Don't Be Afraid Remix) fucking awesome. I can dance to them any day.
I also remember dancing my ass off at a club in Mexico to James Harcourt – Diaspora about the time when it was released. Good times. As much as I prefer oldschool stuff, I'll always have a soft spot for early 2000 era edm.

yeah I realize 2000's prog is the most popular style ever on TA besides uplifting trance. the issue I have with 2000's prog is that there's not much going on besides a chuggy bassline, a few subtle layers, and an occasional random voice straight from "darkness." an average 9 minute prog track probably has 3 minutes worth of material that drags on throughout the entire track.
but I don't mean to sound bitter or anything. this is a classic thread in the MD.
