A bunch of bozos hippies are suing the Governement of Quebec to force them go to public bidding for OS and Office software... the Government spends on usual 80 Millions a year in Microsoft Licences ( a drop in the ocean ).

the main argument is that the government will save money by getting freeware... yeah sure and loose 10 fold more in maintenance and rewriting all the existing software and macros for a plateform that doesn't even come close to what Windows and Office offers in the enterprise world.
