I have read that some of these companies received certified letters from the Yes on 8 campaign that they would be publicly "outed" for their support (http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2...487/666/641071.
That's extortion to me. Whenever I have the choice, I'll make sure to support and thank these businesses. Although I had my Mac, iPod and iPhone along with AT&T service before Prop 8 was defeated, I'm really happy to know that they care!
