Calves of steel, but no cankles. It's not like we eat this everyday. I only make it for family functions and house parties.

Yep yep. Sounds about right.

Omg I went to this Polish restaurant with my friend and her mom about a month ago and the borsht was amazing.

That's actually something I've never attempted yet, along with cabbage rolls. I'm really bummed that I don't have my dad's old recipe book though. I would have needed to get everything translated, but I figure I could have paid the delicatessan or some other Hungarian person I know to do it, lol.

Getting a recipe from the net is not the same as having the family tradition. :/

cabbage rolls are pretty simple, but take for fucking ever to make.

m&m stores make great frozen ones, so when i am in the mood i just buy theirs and pop it in the oven. same with stuffed vine leaves...omfg i love stuffed vine leaves.

Well you have to have the right kind of cabbage, I know that much. I remember my dad taking half a day just to prepare the leaves.

How on earth could a hamburger cost $40?

Also, I heard bruno was funny, but he was my least favorite Sascha Baron Cohen character. The rottentomatoes people gave Bruno and Ice Age a higher score than Transformers 2, which kinda upset me, because I thought transformers kicked ass. Fuck those guys. Let us know if Bruno sucks or not.

The problem with expensive burgers is that once you have them you can't go back to regular shitty burgers

LOL at "brgr" did Richie Hawtin design that menu?

edit // WTF $20 for a Kobe beef burger? Rip offfff, I've only seen them that expensive at hotels
