haven't posted in one of the workout threads in forever lol.

recently i've been doing a lot of sprints at the local high school track. 100m. kind of fun to time yourself and try and improve and its a killer all around leg workout.

would suggest it to anybody.

I don't workout much, usually jog around the neighborhood. Lifting weights aren't my thing, but I do try to eat healthy as I can. The way the weather is changing, it's going to be a little harder to get outside.

I've been back into running since January. I had to build it up very slowly at first because I'd lost all my cardio fitness and I still had problems with the knee injury that laid me off in the first place. For the last couple of months I've had no problems and really ramped up the volume. Two weeks back I ran a half marathon distance (13.1 miles, 21km) for the first time.

My overall goal is to be at a marathon distance before the end of next year, and hopefully run one at the end of 2015 or early in 2016. Then I can cross that particular life achievement off the bucketlist. I usually take a couple of months off in winter as the weather here turns to shit and it gets dark so early you become limited to running on weekends, when I'm often busy. Probably a good thing because I feel like my body needs a break. I'll just do some 10k runs once a week/fortnight to keep ticking over until January.

I'm doing this tomorrow:

http://www.reddit.com/r/bicycling/c..._hamilton_lick/

I've lost 15-20 lbs in the last two months. I'm doing some serious running and lifting (benchpressing about 300-500 lbs on better days). Old as fuck, but feeling like i'm in the best shape of my life. My BMI is 21 fucking awesome.

I think i'm gonna get a six pack. Mainly because i really don't drink or eat much sugar anyways, it's starting to show on my upper stomach, eat pretty well since I've become a bit more observant towards labels and cal counting.

Anyways, planning on swimming this summer.

I'm running the Leeds Half Marathon next month. I'm currently running 12-13 mile long runs at weekends and much shorter speed runs in mid-week. Looking forward to a summer of long distance runs.

I have a few apps that remind me which muscles need to be exercised and when. I'm doing expert, im starting to see muscles I didn't know I had, or had to care for.

Do you use any apps to track your workout?
