Totti destroyed Milan. Perhaps it's not too late for them to go to a lower division...

Milan needs new players, younger players that is and a new coach. Carlo Ancelotti sucks balls.

Well not to look like a know it all but Ive been saying this forever and looked like a n00b but finally its coming out to be true.

Milan has many problems IMO here is what they are. (non-bias to be honest Im probably the biggest Inter fan who can look at Milan non-biased and give reasons why they struggle or are better than Inter)

1. For this season it has to be the attack there is no other reason to their struggles. Look at the number of goals they score look at the 0-0 draws its been quite pathetic for a big club like Milan. We have had our struggles with this at Inter. Sell the top striker (take Crespo or Ronaldo) and not replace him. Even at Inter in those circumstances they had Vieri there to step in. Milan doesnt quite have the player like Vieri was. Inzaghi is good but I think if Milan sold him they would have to sell him to a Atalanta, Torino some second class club, Olivera obviously has talent but it could be another year or two that he becomes world class and that still is a big question. Gilardino is obviously a striker who will score 20 on second tier club but needs another striker at a world class club.

Also If I was a Milan fan this year despite the -8 pts I still would've wanted to fight for the scudetto seeing Inter's form of the past 20 years lol. The transfers for this summer would've made me quite upset. Sell your top player and make no effort in signing a replacement instead bringing back Boriello?! I think the way to fix it would be in January signing Iaquinta from Udinese or Lucarelli from Livorno. Toni will be too much money but those 2 would be great and could definitly combine with Gila well and solve the attack problems.

Not to mention they signed Favalli for the back.... they made no sense to me.

2. Dida.....he has been bad since I think when Abbiati went to Juve on loan, coincidence possibly but Dida wasnt ever World Class he was good enough to get the job done. Once they loaned out Abbiati it seemed that he got a bit complacent ya know? Abbiati was a former starter and gave him some competition to be good once he was gone it definitly looked like Dida got a bit lazy.

3. The Age...I think that is definitly a problem. One thing I dont understand is the constant selection of Serginho and even Brocchi. Brocchi even had to be loaned out last year but brought back this year. Quite strange, not to mention if you ask a Milan fan he is more interested in his restaurant and clothing line (with Vieiri). Serginho should be benched in favour of Jankulovski. I would like to see Bonera, Kaladze get more time in the back. Maldini is quite a touchy subject but Milan may want to put him into a coaching role after this year...I havent seen much the past 2 years from him which is quite sad for a legend.

4. Ancelotti & Management....Carlo has to go the campaign for it has started in Milan already I know for sure my roomate is involved in it . He saved his job by winning the Champions League and definitly seems to keep it by clinging on to that win. The problem that many Milan fans have isnt Carlo its Berlusconi and his cronies that will not fire these coaches or take some shots to try to inspire some players. They try not to touch Carlo due to his part in the dream teams of Milan in the 80's. No one will admit this at Maranello but its true its true.

5. What you could look forward to if your a Milan fan....well first off is probably not winning anything this year had to throw that in but seriously. Milan have one of the worlds future stars in Yoann Gourcuff probably France's first REAL "next Zidane". His talent is brillant and paired with Kaka, Gattuso and Pirlo could easly make it the best midfield in the world by far! Also Bonera a player Ive liked forever is finally at his favourite club and being tutored by Maldini and Nesta may finally work out those kinks he has struggled with early this year and at Parma. They will sign someone whether its big name Luca Toni or Ronaldinho or smaller names : Lucarelli, Suazo, Pazzini, Iaquinta it will do wonders. If I was a Milan fan I would also like to add a defender and midfielder to the rotation. Ive heard they are looking at Valon at Lazio and they may go for unhappy Evra at Man Utd. 2 quality signings.

So to wrap up this "longest post ever" by me I would say to Milan fans...fuck this year check your transfers its obvious they were prepared for this anyway and look to the future starting with Gourcuff.

There are too many questions to ask from Milan this year but from what ben has said may be all true im afraid. Its easy to say that the oldies of Milan are washed up, time to get rid of them and sign new young players. Perhaps Milan should re-build their team.

Players who I think Milan should look into or invest in:

GK: NELSON 'DICKHEAD' DIDA is way overdue..i've wanted him to go for a long time. Who we need is Amelia! And for some reason why does Dida do well when he plays for Brazil???? I just cant get it.

DF: Oddo, Zaccardo, Zauri, Barzagli, Ujfalusi - all are near top class just need that extra push.

MF: the midfield of Milan is quite decent although we might need one or two more quality players.

ST: as the ones ben mentioned, i think they are all future stars and Milan should get them ASAP! others worthy of mention are Bazzani, Di Natale, Di Michele, Amauri, Bianchi.

Heres my wrap. The only thing to look forward to this year is Champions League somehow were similar to Liverpool where we suffer in our league games but then pull wins in one of Europe's hardest competitions. I really don't think we have the steam to run the train all the way but its better than falling behind in the Serie A which now i think is already too late to fix. And Ancelotti is also past the expiry date, its time to sign Sir Marcello Lippi Milan need a lot of firepower to come back this season and with these MAJOR changes it CAN happen! Forza MILAN

Definitly good suggestions. Only questions I would have are Bazzani, Bianchi, Di Natale in the attack they may just be a step down from Milan level but who knows...and Oddo if you dont get in the summer will be I think 31 he just signed a new deal at Lazio and was made captain I believe so may want to go a bit younger.

I think for the attack you also can include Tavano from Valencia as a stop gap. He has been awful there but was great in Italy. He will definitly be available for loan from Valencia in Jan. Could be a smart short term stop.

Amauri has been shockingly good and looks to have all the qualities of a striker but his value has probably sky rocketed to Toni level so I would be wary and wait til end of season to see if his form keeps up then make a bid.

Amelia for sure is a good buy but I still think promotion or not Juve is selling Buffon. Their debt is incredible. Not to mention that in the papers in past days Milan has been linked with Trezeguet...

Finally good analgy to Liverpool definitly could see that happen and Lippi is possible but I could see Rikjaard take it at seasons end....

Does anyone know what the deal is with alex at psv, I heard he's more or less signed for chelsea, but i recall ac milan being linked to him a couple of seasons back when ac got to the final vs liverpool.

He's a quality defender and would fit in lovely next to nesta.. Failing that I'd make a move for barzagli as suggested by fcuk, I've always said he is a great defender and still fairly young as well at 25.

in the goal keeping department, I'd like to see milan make a move for Amelia because Dida is definately causing a sense of unease with the back 4. milan need to replace the left and right back positions for certain but I'm not sure who with, decent full backs seem to be in notoriously short supply at the minute. I think the midfield is actually fine for now, a few back up players wouldn't go a miss (or maybe replace seedorf), but imo milan still has the strongest midfield in europe.

Up front we need someone as a direct replacement for shevchenko, someone with pace but who can finish as well. I'd sign samuel eto'o

The AC Milan board should read our posts All these suggestions are possible and are good ones. We still have the money from Shevchenkos move to Chelsea so we have enough money to by one top class striker or two low budget rising stars. And i agree with chesco, the whole back 4 needs rebuilding. I think that is the main concern.

Alex is a PSV player which means he is a Chelsea player. Milan have to negotiate with them first. So would be tough but great for Milan.

Bad news though: Gourcruff and Bonera had a massive fight. Bonera denied it but it has been written about everywhere and also there are many eyewitness reports. Apparently they had a violent fight that went so far that Yoann wants to return to France....2 of the young and brightest futures of Milan....

Milan with another scoreless draw, this time against Empoli, 4 points up to Lazio with 1 game more played, This looks very tough.
