Thick skin is good, but if I can offer you a humble piece of advice it is to prioritise very early on between what is a waste of time with people and what isn't. If someone is simply a genuine waste of time then discard them immediately and move onto who can supply what you want, that comes down to a lot of things in life, work, entertainment, commercial interests and company.

sounds like something i would say. id word it differently but the point is the same.

and yeah the time i realized "oh yeah shes in oz!" which i then lead to me realizing oh shit its fucking early there..oops. nyquil? or do they not have that in oz?

I don't take any of those kind of things out of habit and chances are it'd knock me out for too long, I'll just stay up do some work and nap later.

Days like today are some of my favorite days. I had a good day at work, I was able to come home and hop right into doing a bunch of music work I need to take care of (and today I actually feel like I'm making progress!), I've got some papers to look over and notes to organize yet, and when I'm done I get to go out and play Settlers of Catan.

Nice little Wednesday so far.
