If you all were a little bit easier to get recomendations out of maybe the good sounds wouldnt be so damn hard to find.

If the end result of this thread was to try to show people some other forms of true prog, then maybe the thread title should have been somthing like: "If you like GDJB/ASOT Prog, then check out some of these other deeper prog tunes".

Insulting peoples intelligence because they listen to a certain style wasnt necessary if you were only trying to open peoples minds to other forms of prog.

Dude it shouldnt even be called MCPROG...consider it a favor that it has the word PROG IN IT.

We label it like that (MC=Markus Cheese) for little kids who think its "prog". They should be happy for that in the 1st place.

Kinda like little boys who go to mcdonalds...and want a big mac...

GIve them a smaller version of a meal-- Happy McMeal with McNuggets

So for those of you folks who hate what they are hearing on GDJB/ASOT, why aren't you folks promoting other weekly shows? Why don't I see weekly threads for other artists you folks feel are contributing in a positive manner to trance music/EDM in general?

II mean, it's easy to say something is better or worse, but what about actually showing us what sounds good to you? Then the rest of us can see the difference, and make up our own minds. If that music is truly better, then shows such as these will only make your case stronger.

Because you'll most likely get answers such as:

"This is TRANCEaddict, not PROGaddict, this shit doesn't belong here "

"Prog is soooo boring, how can you listen to it for more than 10 minutes?"

In an attempt to finish this off:

McProg sucks and underground progressive sucks. It's both cheese, repetative, and goes nowhere, no matter who the artist is.
