Hour 36... No Sleep... Time for my review...

Started the day at work yesterday morning, after which I gathered my things and left to head down to Miami for the sickest event of the year thus far.. Myself and Wilyruk arrived in Miami @ 10pm for a quick meetup at Lost Weekend before heading down to Space.. Arriving there at 12;15.. No Line.. Walked right into the club..

This was my first time at Space, and my first time seeing SVD inside, and it was crazy none the less.. after orienting myself to the club I proceeded to search for the "boxes" where the TA's were.. Luckily, I caught up with Richie who introduced me to everyone else (Thanks!).. Awesome warm welcome from all the Miami TA's.. It was cool meeting (most) everyone finally.. Ambs, So good to see you again!

Oscar G killed time until SVD dropped in at 1:45, by that time the club was ready for a miracle... SVD DID NOT DISAPPOINT.. Amazing Set... Needs to Feel, Riff, Back by any Demand, Sweet Dreams (!?!), and many more awesome tracks with flawless mixing and transitions in-between... The sound was on point and the crowd was absolute chaos.. SVD banged out a 3 hour set of total tech madness...

Oscar G came on after SVD to close the mainroom, in which he proceeded to keep the madness going for another 3 hours... His closing set was sickness compared to opening.. Crazy tech house to keep the place moving throughout..

At 6am, we proceeded up to the chaos on the roof... Cedric Gervais was keeping the pace going for an awesome Sunday Sunrise Session.. He dropped Prydz - Armed which set the terrace on fire as a preview of what's to come in November..

The night came to an end at 7:30am this morning, which we proceeded to head to the beach, catch some waves, and face the LONG drive back to Orlando..

All in all.. Amazing Experience.. It was great to see and meet old and new friends, and I hope to do it all again in November @ PVD/Prydz and for SVD in December (Hopefully!)...

The times it's awesome to be a TA.. Enough ranting for me...

He dropped that Sweet Dreams mix on Friday and I was wondering if he just ran the lyrics over a bassline or if it was an actual mix. This confirms the latter and I'm now wondering if this is his mix/edit or not. I guess we'll find out Wednesday

Blitz.

i remember during wmc someone (i think da) posted a video of him at a pool party... i don't remember entirely if it was the same exact remix or not though. after a quick youtube search i found it here...

All I gotta say is that last nite was perrrrrrrrfect as far as SvD goes...worst part was the joke of a set OG spun not to mention that Mexican mariachi track that came on. WOOOOOOW I could not stop laughing esp at the people actually dancing to that. He was really boring and I began falling asleep until Sander came on.

The sound was the best I've heard besides PvD...for Sander's first time @ Space, he worked that system and it was effing great. I just couldn't get over how perfect the sound was, I told almost everyone lol.

He started off building into his set then just banged it out for the rest of the nite.
The room wasn't that packed till he got on & it did not die down one bit, everyone was dancing and had their hands up.

All I hope for is him to come back in December because we need more nights like last.

That was my THIRD time seeing him this year and he proved once again how great he really is.

I was pissed he only went on for like 3 hours [seemed like the night went so fast]

Great seeing Brent again see you for PvD buddy.
Great hanging with the usual suspects always a good time with you guys!

All I gotta ask is WHERE WERE THE FUKING LASERS? Kinda upset to not see them out but like I told Ant, I think they only bring them out for PvD type nites.

So true! You always tip your bartenders even for a cup of water. I always get them and leave the dollar there.

Fact of a matter is, they don't even have to give you a cup in the first place because it's a bar and they want to make money.

Space is good about that because they used to make you buy a $6 bottle and didn't give out cups.

A cup always = $1
