Not full frame though. Do you miss that?

no. I have had some trouble with not having cropped lenses (i. have 24-70, 50, 28-300, etc) - it is not because the 7D is cropped, its because I don't have the lenses. So I've acquired a UWA (10mm) in the last week (along with a macro) and its opened my eyes to some new experiences. Really fun. But the technology is so far ahead that no I don't miss full-frame. If you were comparing a 5D and say, a 30D, I would say that I would rather have the 5D because its FF. But on the 7D, the performance is so damn good that it doesn't matter if its cropped.

Nice I use a 10-22mm with my 50D and love it, such a cool lens. I actually like the crop though, because it adds to my telephoto distance

oh yeah totally. very happy with the extra zoom! another lens I got recently is the 200mm 2.8L and its just a stunner. so sharp and clear. and its 320mm on the 7d, and with the 1.4x extender I got its 448mm. can't wait for the air show.

200mm f/2.8 prime? Niiiiice.

I have a 300mm L prime, but it's only f/4. Easily my favourite lens though. My 100-400mm L is just a tad too slow in some conditions.

I think you should take a picture of a bird, using the 7D. I've always wanted to see what a Sushipunk meltdown looks like.
