Yup. Get three paper towels and cube a bunch of firm tofu. Wrap it in the towels and leave it somewhere to sit for about 20 minutes. Remove from that and let it marinate in a preferred sauce (eg stir fry, whatever) for a couple of hours. You can then use it in place of pretty much any meat, just pan-fry it a little while 'til it's lightly brown.
Alternatively, I like to just eat a big chunk of it with soy sauce and wasabi. |
