Xp is a hog and doesn't really have anything usefull over 2k. Why should I need to turn everything off to get the same performance as 2k? M$ has geared XP to the consumer, and as such makes it a piece of ass. Only reason I use 2K even is to play games My other 2 comps are Redhat 9.

I use XP home edition, and its perfect.

I havnt had any problems or crashes in a looooonggg time.
I cant believe how stable it is.

i run an msdn final of xp pro on my machines and its the best and most reliable os i've ever used. needs fightin' with every now and again to stop it selling my lifestory to M$ but it doesn't crash and as long as its updated properly its still going strong over a year later.
