my dad loves motown and northern soul, which i kinda like too

Bahaha.

I knew a dude from one of my photography classes. I couldn't understand a word he said because he had such a thick accent. I don't know what part of UK he was from. I can understand the BBC news though hehe.

Of course he listens to pretty much anything though, I mean we have stuff from recordings of Buddhist Monks doing their chants to a group called Manu Chau (A really cool fusion of a lot of different styles) to classical tracks to (ughh...) some pop music to romance songs, jazz, Spanish rap...

Fuck my parents have fucking everything except for mainstream rap...

Before that the only electronica I had was "Music for the Jilted Generation" by The Prodigy, still an excellent CD btw

Yeah and my mom likes it too, and so does my brother, hahaha I've bruned stuff for all of them, hehe. I'm even getting most of my friends to at least appreciate some of it.

my parents don't care much, but kinda hate it.

But I've got an uncle that asked me to burn an mp3 cd with trance and prog for him
Also, the first trance cd's I ever heard were his.. some old cd called World of Trance vol.8, and a compilation that had For An Angel and Binary Finary on it

So.. I teach sailing to kids here in Miami. The other day I had my cd player with an ASOT set I had burned to lesten to the new tracks. One of the kids (15 yrs old) asks "what are you listening to?" I said "trance, wanna hear?" The kid comes back to me and says "HAHA Dude thats the same stuff my dad blasts at the house every day!" LOL but the funniest thing is that the kid's dad is my Boss
