The Ultra Music Festival was 40,000+ @ Miami, Florida ( Bayfront Park ).
Well, the US is a big ass country with a big ass population. Yet, theres plenty of clubs that play the trance music. There's always a big DJ somewhere in the US playing. The problem is, the US is TOO big to have a general US sound. Each state, city have their own sound. What may be heard in California may be totally different then what is heard in Florida. Is all about the type of society and local scenes. About Holland, well, im quite surpirsed also. It looks just like Miami. Theres this dance radio station, big clubs and big Dj's, the winter music conference and such, big parties all around... thousands come to party, it looks as if the whole Miami peep would know the sound, but not really. Each person is into their style, so each individual knows whats going on, its like one's own world. And I see that same case in Holland, though society is different and more liberal. If laws in the US wouldnt be as restricted, IM sure that every kidd in my school would be going to the big DJ name events.. thought that would definetly suck.

I live in New York City, and the trance/club scene is quite big here, too many clubs to mention, biggest one though is probably Webster Hall, maybe some of you have they compilation CD's or what not. But MTV Inc. and the little 14 yrs olds of the US dont know their ass from a hole in the ground. All this pop music and shit *vomits* ill admit when i was growing up, I listened to a load of rap. I still like it, but most of it is garbage. If the music industry wasnt so commercial and industrialized, I think we all know what would be on top. ACTUAL MUSIC, WITH BEAT AND LYRICS WORTH LISTENING TO. Not like rap, where a 5 yr old can come up with a rhyme, throw in a beat or two, talk through the beat, and sell a million records. Funniest thing I hear when listening to club music in my car is, WTF is that noise your listening to? If trance is noise, than rap gotta be barking with a tune.

- Yes, that's true, there's always the chance you will find that Import dance CD, but that is, the IMPORT < meaning, expensive as hell, but I see that thats the case anywhere you go, except for lets say, Germany, Hollanda and the UK, where bunch of good CD's are released locally. But is true, you will most likely find stuff in Miami's record shops, and Im taking it as since trance is a strong genre, and its Miami, ya know, South Beach, bunch of DJ's and clubs, who knows.
