If you really wanna stay electronic, you should check out Pink Floyd. They're my absolute IDOLS in this world... The best albums to check out are Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, A Momentary Lapse of Reason, and Division Bell. Momentary Lapse and Division Bell were the products of David Gilmour's mind... he was the electronica influence on Pink Floyd. The absoulte BEST album is PULSE...it's the live album from 1994 from Pink Floyd's final tour.... They put ANY DJ to shame when it comes to live performance.... They define EVERYTHING that I love about "space" rock.... without them, my inspiration as a musical artist would not be what it is... Regardless, Dark Side of the Moon is one of the GREATEST musical albums EVER to be created.... It's a genious of production and a true testiment to experimental synthesizer rock!!!

Also, Enya or Enigma for new age... both ROCK!! New age is so cool...Enigma seems to be the best thing out of France that I've heard. Enya represents the Irish...especially the Gaelic tradition.
New age is so closely related to Trance.... the only real difference is the beat.....
