Hey Nat, I can't believe that just happened to you. This past weekend I was driving to Windsor with my friend, and he was telling me about various moose stories. Not to long ago, this girl that he went to school with was driving up north with her boyfriend when all of a sudden in the middle of the night she was face to face with a moose standing on the roadway. She did not have enough time to avoid it and ended up hitting the moose straight on. The antlers of the moose came right through the windshield and she ended up in a ditch on the side of the road. When the dust settled she found herself with a bunch of scratches and bruises, but was relatively fine. However, to her dismay, her boyfriend who was sitting in the passenger side was dicapitated by the antlers of the moose.
Thank God that you ended up with only and broken arm, it could have been a lot more serious. Its great that you still had the tenacity to attend the party and have a good time. I hope you get better soon. After what happened to you and Hooman this weekend, I will definitively be more careful driving up north. I love the curvy roads up north, and too often mistake them for a race track. Now I will for sure think twice before doubling the speed limit while carving corners up north.
