Really enjoyed this one, was looking forward to seeing it as it was directed by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting) and I thought it was brilliant.

I kinda looked at the message he tried to bring across - Man more often than not will fuck things up for himself (the ppl trying to save the monkeys) and even if there is a light at the end of the tunnel, count on us to go throw that all away too (the army dudes and their tactics)

Best Scene was the one Frame of the the word "HEL" which was just plain creepy in the context. If you think about it as a Danny Boyle production I think it is more appreciated.

Cheers

And altho 28 Days Later is good, Dawn of the Dead, (second part of the Dead Trilogy) better deals with post-consumerism, greed and necessity.

Btw, "Dawn of the Dead" was filmed in Monroeville Mall, which is about 1 mile from my house.

They are re-making this movie, and shooting it in the shitty, sad mall around the corner from me right now...

LoL, well Monroeville Mall is pretty shitty now as well...it recently got a facelift though which updated it from how it looked in the movie. They've taken out all the music stores and the arcade so there really is no point in going now.
