simon raine is tryin to create his own little version of clubbers by changin the gatecrasher experiance that my opinion anyway

personlly i dont see the hoo har here. crasher went down hill and wasnt pulling the numbers. something had to be done, now it became apparnt that 'trance' wasnt getting in the numbers. now if i owned a trance club, and trance wasnt getting in the numbers, id do something about it.

Crasher became once a month anyway, so having the new crasher once a month is no different than what it was anyway. a club is a club, the only thing different is what music is being played. if by using the club for other geners 3 times a month, and trance the other time, means the club can be re-fitted to fuck, then good! it means that the trance nights will be better.

Its all well and good saying "theyre killing our club" - but having clubber saying "yea yea we love crasher" doesnt pay peoples morguages, and if the numbers aint there then something needed to be done. as the building wasnt trance for the other 3 nights a month, whats the problem with using them?

i really think this is a fuss about nothing and imo as far as i can see it'd make our trance nights 10x better.

dodgy to say the least... it needs to be dark up there :/

I do agree that it weren't pulling in the numbers n that they did need to do sumfink... there aint nuffink wrong wiv a club doing diff tunes on diff nites..... buts its the whole incoorporating other music elements into a trance enviroment that gets to me... coz.. as its said in the design thread for gk, alot of other genres are more materialistic.. i suppose i should not make any assuptions n enjoy the music... but i like my basics, im there for the tunes, not the decor, or (as i suspect will happen) the likely crowd gc will attract wiv its new ideas...This effects then venue n its atmosphere, it will have an impact on our trance clubbing.

point. guess we have to wait and see how the design looks. they have even have some kind of interchangable decor, for the different nights...

On the whole tho, i dont think this is an entirely bad move.

Its all the scallies the rizty type of enviroment will bring. U already get people going to normal republic nights thinking there gonna crasher. So renaming the republic "Gatecrasher one", i think. Is a stupid idea.
