after a while u'll "hear" it too..u..unless u dont have your speakers blasting the newest armin set |
emm, you sure about that? doesnt apply to all cars you know...
a 1995 Dauer Porsche 962 LeMans can do 110 in 1st gear
seriously though, knowing when to shift is simple, youll hear
it after a while, but you can just take a peek at your tachometer,
(gauge that shows the revs), THATS WHAT ITS THERE FOR.
just dont go over the red line (thats what they call "redlining" )
i learned to stickshift when i was 14 in half an hour. and people,
stop that 'automatic is for wimps' shit... my father has been driving
since forever, racing as a hobby on a professional level since he
was 15, won the national kart championship 7 times, (yes, there
are racing karts with gears) has raced Formula Arcobaleno 5 times,
which he won 4 of, has built himself 5 race cars over the years,
and owns the representative of germany's Bosch GmbH in this country,
the man KNOWS HIS CARS.
when he was like 12 he said 'im never ever gonna have an automatic'.
now he's 46 and says 'i mustve been fucking out of my mind.
id like to see ANYONE stuck in traffic for 2 hours and still be
happy wih your stickshift. sure, im 100% for shifters, but its
a pain in the ass sometimes. although, EVERYONE SHOULD FUCKING
LEARN TO DRIVE A STICK or they shouldnt be given a licence.
what if an emergency happens, you gotta drive someone to the
hospital, and theirs only a stick available? sticks are a lot
sportier, and consume slightly less.
driving a stick is easy, and everyone should know how to do it,
but at the end of they day, its a question of commodity.
