get an efx machine, fuck with the eq's a bit learn to scratch, learn to juggle just try different shit. there is so much stuff you can do in your sets its not funny. just fuck around learn new things. im slowly learning to juggle and i tend to have a bit of fun with my efx machine. either that or just start producing

julian reynolds almost has the hang of it, but it's normally 1 record and it doesn't usually leave his hand. it kinda just gets pumped a few times in the air without making lift off.

yes juggling 3 records is a cool thing to do but i was talking about getting two of the same records and..bah to hard to explain. watch one of those dmc championship videos etc youll get the pic. its fuckin hard to learn as well meh but fuck if you do it and do it well it sounds cool.

Juggling, shit, i know what it is, but I have no idea how to describe it - but i'll try. Get two of the same records, gotta be broken beat (hiphop, dnb) so trance wont really work. So yea, both records on each deck, then line em up at different intervals, most djs will put a lil sticker on the record at an exact point to act as a marker to base themselves off - as you will be pullin a record back to a certain point, whether it be a beat or a snare or whatever, to cut to it for a split second. What happens is you just cut from each record with a high level of style to make a whole new tune, when watching the pros, they slam the crossfader from side to side so quickly it just aint funny, in fact, its rediculous. Try and find Klevers DMC 2001 vid on one of the P2P networks, or DJ Samurai (aussie dj). Both sick vids.
