Christopher Lawrence definitely tops the list.
Noel Sanger
Gabriel & Dresden
BT
Donald Glaude

George Acosta is a whining superstar-wannabe who lacks original style. And all his compilations? Talk about selling out before you've even made it. Sheesh.

Keoki washed up years ago as far as I can tell.

Aren't they Ausssies? I remember them coming to DC and they spoke with the heavy accent.

I like DJ Micro... I don't know if you can consider him amazing, but it was his albums that got me into electronic music, particulary trance.

A lot of good names mentioned so far...and yes, Glaude can tear the roof off the place...no matter what style ur into, it's just a fact that some of these guys can really through a party.

I'm a trance guy, but when I saw Carl Cox live, oh man.... Plus, he recorded that set for a CD!!! (Area 2 tour)

One more comment, I agree with those not liking Acosta....some good songs occasionally, but lacking in all other aspects

This is all, of course, IMHO

I wasn't sure about Lee & Cabrera.... So I did sum digging...

Quote from their manager's website..

"Lee-Cabrera are 25 year old New York based DJ & producer Steven Lee and legendary producer, Albert Cabrera, who, worked with everyone from Madonna, to Aretha Franklin & Prince."

http://www.carolinedunkley.com/art_leecabrera.html

So maybe their just NY based???

Maybe it just seems that way-with how everyone @ vipguestlist.org and clubplanet.com drool over all there songs all the time. Got the impression they were NY boys....
