hollllllllly shiiiit what a night!!!!

Arrived at the Country Style meetup about 10pm with emono. Wondered wtf everyone was! A few people showed up, and I met some new TAs, and for once, I was quite talkative and happy

Oh btw, THE FIRST TIME I HAVE GOTTEN TO A PARTY WITH NO HICCUPS!!!! yayayaya

So, got to Viva, was pretty empty, but that didn't stop me from hitting the floor.
Was sorta shifting back and forth from the floor for awhile. Then Rosati dropped Nalin & Kane - Beachball (Gabriel & Dresden remix). Then I just went off, and didn't stop until 7am. Rosati was pretty good, did a good job of warming up the crowd with some harder stuff at the end.

Edgar V was awesome. Nuff said. He jumped around genres a bit, but it was smooth and energizing. Nicely placed anthems, good mixing, awesome crowd interaction.... 10/10 performance.

Mark Oliver was also awesome. He followed up to Edgar V with more epic trance, slowly shifting to hard driving tracks that brought the crowd to their knees. I would also give Mark O a 10/10. Also, he looked like he was having fun, and was interacting with the crowd, which is out of the ordinary for this guy, who is usually all business at the decks.

Wow, it was sooooo good to be back at Viva again. Haven't been there since a resident's night when Ahmalek came to town a while ago. Nice amount of TAs in attendance, & lotsa '1st timers' which was cool. Always fun to chill in the 19+ area and chat. Oh you shoulda heard the obscenities flying from my mouth when Walter R dropped "Satisfaction" followed by "Loneliness" (those who camped w/us at WEMF know the reason why...).
*Msg to any DJ reading this: please NEVER play those 2 tracks in that order around us ever again!*

That was my 3rd or 4th time seeing Edgar, but the 1st time where he's the headliner, and not opening for PVD or someone else. Last nite did not disappoint. I met him b4 the show, and he had wanted to start off proggy and build up, but I guess he changed his mind last second, which is fine, since it would've been hard to drop the pace down after such a banging end to Walter's set. It was the perfect blend of musical styles, and kept the TA massive jumping on the dance floor. Thank u Edgar for dropping back-to-back Nu-NRG tunes! So many good tunes- good thing TR recorded the set for us!

Yes, I spun my spelling toy w/my bad arm, and do I ever feel the consequences of that, still. Ouch! Not only have I spent the entire summer in a cast, but it wouldnt surprize me if I spent the entire fall in it too.

Went in the back room when his set was over, and like the punks that you all are, you were outta there as soon as he was done . Was really sad for a while that I didn't get to say goodbye to any of you. It took a while for those harboured feelings of abandonment to go away, but with the help of Mark's slammin set, my mood eventually picked up again. I'd like to give a big up to all the newer TA's who ended up staying til the bitter end- you alumni's could learn something from them.

Mark dropped so many wicked tracks, incl. the Sensation theme, Rusch & Murray- Epic, Picotto-"new Time new Place", Paula Peroni- "Trip on the Moon", and the new 4 Strings promo, "Rain on Me", which made my heart melt. *Good to see u on the boards, Mark! Enjoy the DV souvenirs.

Met 3 guys from DC who came up to see Edgar- that was a trip! Hopefully they'll be joining us at the Promise beach party tomorrow.

After the club closed, Rich came over and we watched the Tiesto DVD "A Day at the Office", that I brought back from Amsterdam. Holy brutal interview in the extras section!!!! That was the most PAINFUL thing to sit thru. Started watching my footage from Dance Valley, but passed out midway from exhaustion. Totally brain dead today....

Too many people to list shout outs to, but u all know who u are. Good to meet all the new peeps, and see all the familiar ones again. Thanks TR and Viva for the beginning of many good nights to come.

Last night was great.. especially the 2nd time Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes was dropped.. and WOW, I need to find the remix of Red Hot Chili Peppers - By The Way that Edgar V dropped. Early on in the night I just vegged out with Hordash on one of those clear plastic boxes the dancers dance on until Graham finally convinced me to get off the box, and a few minutes later Edgar V came on. Heh, what amazing timing... his first track Junkie XL - blue pill, red pill was a great choice. From there, I was on the floor for the rest of the night. Had to leave early, just before 5 cuz i had to wake up at 8 (And I just got home) I guess i didn't miss much because I'm not much of a techno fan and Edgar V was starting his techno run just before I left.

Got To the pre-meetup place at around 10:30 and there were few people , but I had to leave temporarly 'coz of my friends.

My first time to a good club! HOORAY!!! First comes first, the LIGHTING! THE LASSERS~! Just the lasser show alone made it all worth while. Beautifull system! I especially loved the Dancing animals and figurines on the Screen that temporarly came down.

My friends left the club around 1:45, so I was left there all alone. Thank god for the TA crew! Without you people, it wouldn't be as enjoyable!

The guy before Edgar V was quiet good. Mostly because he played Bedrock's HEAVEN SCENT! Thats when I knew I was in the RIGHT place!

Edgar V was awesome! Just as I was about to say "Give us some HARDSTYLE," He went into the TECHNO mode! The "DJ_Isaac-Nobody_Listens_To_Techno" is awesome! Magnetonium, the Moby's bit is actualy part of the song.

By 5 o'clock, my feet were killing me, and Oliver played amazing tunes which I simply loved. I just closed my eyes and listened to it while slowly nooding my head. You probobly thought I was high.

Overall, my night was a success, and all the thanks goes to TAs!

Ya make us proud!

Sober_247 - I think you were a bit freaked out when I sat next to you! No, I was not picking you up. Somebody told me ahead that you were a TA and I REALLY had to sit down! I didn't pase my self properly. Too much partying early on. Too bad I didn't see you at the WEMF! That place WAS HOT! Oh, almost forgot, great IDing skills for the PvD's tune!

The italian guys, Swamper, Mike and his girl, few others I've seen but didn't get a chance to introduce myself. No worries, I'll approatch you all next time, just don't get freaked out.

I think I remember you, don't remember the squares on your shirt but I remember it was black, if it was you I even asked you to take a picture of me and the girl I was with, looking forward to see those pics
