demo links for sohaness, Schryer, and B-BOY_DIWA have now been posted in the main thread in case anyone is interested in getting a preview of what they spin..
and don't forget to check out Skipper's set from TA Invasion 003 posted there too .. cheers!
I don't think the link has been working - something with ESO's server being down. (computer crashed, I think)

I think steve's set has to identified as breaks/tech/electro/house
I hate when people consider everything besides trance that sounds housy as progressive.
Progressive is not what you think it is. There are tons of different progressive genres.

his demo isn't necessarily going to reflect what he will play tho. sometimes track selection on demos are meant to display versatility etc. I've heard steve spin live, and when he did i think progressive house best described this and he has refered to what he plays as such.

I interviewed Steve and he asked that his style be identified as "progressive".

So, his set is progressive tech, progressive electro, progressive breaks and progressive house?
What is "tech"?
Am I the only one more confused now?

no
based on his demo
I can judge that he plays breaks/elctro/tech/house
This is exactly how he described his style on a heiniken contest
tech - is my short word for techno, more techy/funky style.
I was just making a statement, I was not negative at all
You guys need to chill
btw I respect and support Steve all the way.

And I was just asking for clarification since I didn't understand. If I need to chill, then you need to stop being so defensive.
I'm chill.

I dunno man, it's a lot easier to say he spins prog, than saying he spins breaks slash tech slash electro slash house Also, compared to the other DJs spinning tomorrow night, defining Porter as prog is more than acceptable because he's spinning alongside D+B and trance where those 2 genres are considerably different from progressive house/trance whatever you want to call it. Now if he was spinning alongside Sander K or something, perhaps one would like to specify what form of progressive tracks Porter would spin, as both Sander K and Porter spin prog but different styles of it.
