everything has its moment in time and I guess its hoojs time to go.

I don't think many ppl on this board talk about it but trance is changing, EVOLVING, and though the old melodic style of trance is still the ROOTS, new labels and new artists are evolving into the harder, more energetic and deeper futuristic trance.

don't get me wrong, 90% of what I own is PURE TRANCE, not hard trance.

But we can see the future of trance is going to be very interesting, let's let hooj go, and any other label that must go, WILL GO.

I agree not as harshly put but I still agree. They never had nething that i wanted to hear, it was always dark prog and what not, not very tantalizing IMO, but I am sorry to see them go I mean that sux for anyone.

i just hope i can still get some of the old releases and 16b - escape from hooj.com and of course all the new lost language cds that i don't have yet! hooj used to release amazing stuff but then they begun releasing the (imo)good stuff on lost language! i just hope that the shop will work like before, or maybe even better!!?

I got this e-mail too. I'm worried about lost language also. But what worries me more is that Hooj was one of the leading labels, like lightning records was. If the big labels are suffering, we definately have problems in the industry. But Lightning records was rescued, and the e-mail from hooj spoke of ownership changes, prompting speculation that the label may survive under a different guise. I wonder if the label will be as good without Red Jerry at the helm?
