And it does get terribly tiresome having drug free folks slander drugs.

It's called, lack of understanding and plain ignorance.

i dont think the 'lack of understanding' is really widespread. i think most TAers with a head on their shoulders understand the state of the scene and how it has evolved.

people arent always judging either, sometimes they are tho...i just think that some people cant correctly express how they feel about people using the music for the drugs, rather than the drugs for the music|

thank Swamper for this tune:
Origin - Refined Intricacy 99 (remix)

see if that floats your proverbial boat

I think a lack of understanding is the problem. If you run the numbers on the death rate from using E you would see that it's a very safe durg IF what you are taking is MDMA. And no it does not float my proverbial boat, sorry.

I'm not condoning using drugs, I'm just stating the obvious. Lets face it folks, E is part of the scene weather you like it or not.

I don't think it is part of the electronic music scene. I think it is a part of the clubbing scene, whatever kind of music is played.

oh right like people go sober to raves

even in the pioneering experimental electronic music movements that didn't have anything to do with dance music drugs were a very very important part of the whole ethos and culture. from the 1930s to this day.

like satchmo and weed (there are many others this is just anothe example)

drugs influence music, without drugs alot of the music styles you are hearing now would not exist.
