But in the end are the games really worth it? Aren't we all just lookin for someone to spend the rest of our lives with? I kindda gave up on 1 night stands cause they don't lead anywhere and even though I'm only 23 I'm getting pretty antsy about finding someone who'll love me even when I don't shave my legs or my pits. So I guess it all depends on what you're looking for in life. |
Well, women's attitudes do change when they get older. What were you like when you were say, 21? 18? Around 25 is usually the age when women and men alike are more willing to "settle down", but sometimes it takes 'til 30 or later. And maybe some of you think I can't know this because I'm only 20, but I've spent most of my life around older people, including but not limited to my 3 siblings all over 10 years older, so I know what happens.
As a general rule, the games are supposed to stop when the relationship gets steady... i.e. when both people move past that "infatuation" stage. That takes at least a few months, then you're in that comfort zone. Before then, though, it is a game whether you like it or not, and choosing not to play is as good as standing in the corner and watching the other team (i.e. the other guys) win.
