how many BK tunes have u heard exactly? 5 for 6? |
1. Well the fact that I've heard several major trance producers refer to it as hard trance, but of course, you know better than the ******s who make and spin the stuff don't ya?
2. At least 15-20, if you count his many collaborations.
| quote: | | Hard-Trance really has 3 sub-sections that you can split it down into, a more uplifting one, and a really Hard as Nails one, almost gabber in some elements, and a commercial one. |
| quote: | | First of all, I'll take the more uplifting style. The emphasis here is on the tune as well as a catchy bassline and a hard beat. The tune will be really soft and melodic as a rule, and the whole song will be like a full set. Take a heavy beat and add a driving bassline, then progress into an array of beautiful sounds, before ending harder again. Some of the best artists in this particular brand are Jam-x & De Leon aka DuMonde, Cosmic Gate, DJ Natron & DJ Reverb, better known as Flutlicht, SHOKK, Schwarzen Puppen and DJ Scot Project |
| quote: | | Lastly comes the really Hard Trance, This will be less melodic and a combination of sounds and beats and bass as a rule, or if it has a main melody, this will also be really hard sounding. Some people cannot appreciate this style of trance, but an Artist like Derb are very good at it, They take deep heavy fat beats, add a pulsating bassline to it and some elements from gabber hardcore at times. The emphasis is on blowing the minds of the people listening, not giving a sweet little tune to sing along to, There may be voiceovers used in tunes, but the presence of female vocals is usually low to nil. This music is very effective in the way it is done. |
You see if you weren't so blatantly short-sighted, you would have realised there were many varieties of hard trance, and I've tried to cover the whole spectrum. The quotes are from the writer of a major dance website, so go argue with him.
Oh yeah and for the record, I've heard over half of what you just posted. So don't patronise me about not knowing what the fuck I'm talking about, just because my opinion is different to yours.

1. So if a trance producer thinks its hard trance its hard trance? what the hell would a trance dj know about HARD trance? if your telling me big name DJ's are calling Gouryella hard trance then they really dont have a clue, anybody on this forum can tell u their not hard trance, if u want 2 think they are then believe what u want, i aint gota problem with that however wrong and foolish you are
2. That all? he has a hell of alot more than that, try discogs or something for a full list, almost 100 to his name.
And no, im not short sighted, your the one who has trance tracks in his hard trance album, you are the one whos short sighted boy and cant tell trance (too many to mention from ur album and top 10) from Hard Trance.
If you'd posted a theoritcal compiliation of purely hard trance itd look better, but u didnt, half was hardstyle n trance which erm....isnt hard trance really is it?? so no mate, u dont know what the fuck your talking about, not when u believe fairy trance is hard trance, but thats not ur fault, thats the DJ's that know absolutely everything about a style they dont usually spin making u believe that isnt it? lol. Your opinion isnt completely different, its partly wrong, quite a few of the tunes u posted arent hard trance, some of your top 10 hard trance which u posted not so long ago wasnt hard trance either, so whos really short sighted pal?

Oh I don't know, perhaps the ones in the great obvious quotes. Like he said, there's more than one aspect to hard trance, something which seems to upset you a lot. |
I did answer that before but must have edited it out, the quotes said 3 sections? i only see 2 sections there?
Their not even relevent anyway, i know quite well theres more than one aspect to hard trance i've been listening to it for long enough, maybe you should read it yourself? seeing as ur still learning about hard trance and think trance DJ's are always right about something they play once a blue moon yeah?
From the beginning i said it was hard trance to me, just compare Jetlag, O, Locked Tight or Firewire to PvD Rmx, The Drill or Urban Train for example, the first 4 are far harder than the rest. Thats how i see it, it might be labelled as hard trance but if its soft as a sponge compared to the rest then i dont see it as HT, get me now? I dont give a flying fuck if you follow what everybody says like a sheep, believe what you will, u still have no idea about hard trance going by what i've read off you so far and as most people keep saying, most of your album isnt even hard trance, boy.
