Cheese imo is only defined truly by the ending .. take apocalpyse now .. my fav war movie .. cos it remains true to the story line of the vietnam war .. and doesnt have to delve too deeply into the loss of loved 1s to drag out emotion from its viewers (eg pearl harbour) ..
