But its not that simple, well with E you can definately say what you said, but again don't forget the day after boozing all night is also pretty damn harsh. The E low is much better than a hangover for me, not that I would make E something to do instead of drinking, I like my whiskey ... But lets take many legal perscription drugs for depression, sleep disorders, eating disorders, high blood pressure, etc... They all have risks, yet they are totally accepted since the government approved them.
I've said before to people who've never done any drugs, please don't try to tell us we shouldn't do it based on life giving us a good enough high, or something to that effect.
The perfect example is someone who's never skydived telling skydivers that they shouldn't skydive because life should be thrilling enough
Don't forget I used to be a very anti-drug person myself when I was younger, now I own a website dedicated to stopping the dangerous spread of mis-information on the internet. Thats why you see me so often posting in drug related threads
One interesting note, mdma was legal in the late 60's, the reason it became illegal was because people started to use mdma at parties for recreational use. Phyciatrists who were so excited at the potential uses for mdma were furious at the government's decision to ban something that could help their patients.
Lets look at it this way, if mdma wasn't banned, there would likely be some perscription drugs out today that were used in a variety of medical uses, ie depression, loss therapy, etc.... But since the government noticed people having fun on the drug, they banned it and now its becoming a problem today. This is often the approach by governments. Scientists suggest we study and learn before making a rash decision, yet the government often makes quick decisions on less than all the facts for fear of pissing off the voters. Don't forget most politicians are only around for 4-5 yr terms, so making themselves look good is of utmost importance.
The sad thing is that there are underground mdma therapy groups, people who've faced serious personal traumas or tragedys are using mdma in with a psychiatrist to help them deal with the devastation.
So again I go off on a tangent, sorry for that, Its late and I'm bored
But there is so much more to everything if you do some research, the government makes many bad decisions and its takes so much work to try to re-verse these dumb decisions so many years later.
