Download XTC remix

Very good! Powerful, well compressed kick, brilliant distortion on the lead, lovely acid techno sound on the 303. I really like the breakbeat section in the second breakdown - again, very good distortion work. The compression on the tail end of the distorted lead straight after this section is particularly smooth.

My only criticisms are purely matters of personal taste - I'm not fond of the reverse reverb kick sound (although I appreciate it is a common technique within hard trance, and seems to do the trick), and the tune goes on a little long for my tastes. It seems to me that it can say what it has to say in far less time - I'd be getting bored towards the end if I was dancing to it, but I'd really enjoy it if it was shorter.

Very authentic! It seems to capture the slide nicely, and the particular roundness of the filter decay.

It does seem to sound a touch more mechanical than the 303 patterns I've been playing with, but that could be caused by a number of different factors.

I'll have to look into this for when I have to give the 303 back... Thanks for the link!

WOW!!! Really really good sounding 303 there!!!

So U made that 303 with ABL-303?? Cool!! And that is softsynth? Amazing And the prize isn't too high... But, can it do any other sounds than this 303 sound? I mean can it make any other sounds as good as 303? Other bass sounds?

Why not save your money, put a saw thru a lp filter (a bit filter, much resonance, or play with it), and add distortion ?

Almost too easy if you've got Reason.

Cheers

Cos you'll end up with something that sounds nothing like a 303.

yes..the 303 is made with Audiorealism BaseLine and it's a vst softsynth. ABL can create most (if not all) the sounds that the original TB-303 can create!
