Considering the comments you made in the other thread stereotyping black people, I'm not surprised that you would now be on the defensive...
The easy answer is that all people to some degree carry the baggage of stereotype and prejudice in regards to ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, country of origin/culture, gender, etc on their shoulders. Some are content to express this as overt prejudice manifested in the form of such dangerous organizations as the Ku Klux Klan, the Nazi Party, the Christian Coalition, or internet message boards (muahaha), but for most people this prejudice exists just beneath the surface of the individual. This covert prejudice will manifest itself in more subtle ways, but is still nonetheless harmful.
Some examples:
-Hiring for job interviews
-Helping (or not helping) someone with a broken-down car on the road
-Who one chooses to associate with
-Presumptions about individuals before meeting said individual
....too many to list, but you get the idea!
