yup i have it. part 1 works just fine and it was sweet....unfortunately though part 2 isn't working for me. it says the file format is invalid.....haha shit i hope nothing went wrong during the download and fucked up the file...
now i just gotta wait and see if i can find a solution

To make sure u downloaded teh file correctly, here are the status on the file (right-click, properties):
Media Length: 35 min. 27.760 sec.
Audio Format: MPEG Layer-3,159 kBit/s, 44,100 Hz, Stereo
Video Format: 352 x 288, 24 bits, 53194 Frames, 25.000 Frames/Secm 117 KB/Sec, DivX code

I don't know, but i really think that the video file came corrupted at somewhere around 1 minute 10 seconds, and that ruined it for the rest of the movie. so...

Windows Media Player
-Class Not Specified
or
The Player (comes in www.divx.com codec bundle package)
-Only runs until 1 minute X seconds

To fix this, you're going to need to create ANOTHER copy of the Marco V video, so make sure u have another 250 megs available (unless of course, u want to redownload and risk another naturally corrupt file) Download the program AVIEdit from http://download2.divx.com/videotool...it/aviedi29.zip . Now open the Marco V video inside AVI Edit and: File;Save As; Compression=DivX 4.0 Beta. now just wait for the file to be encoded and bam, you can now play it in The Player and Windows Media Player correctly. It'll be exactly like the original, no quality, resolution, or size loss.

About the Only Sound and No Video error, i grabbed the tip off the DivX forum located at: http://www.divx.com/forums/viewtopi...c=14263&forum=1 the post has GOT to be legitimate considering it was posted my a moderator of DivX.com

Man !!! I got the Media player 7 , and I installed the program Nimov program Divx thing .. now . I get this error everytime I try to see the part 1 & 2 , telling me that it does not SUPPORT that type of file .. Invalid File is what appears .. what should I do ?!!?!?

well, i'm no professional at this, i'm just getting everything off of the DivX.com forums. I found a thread based on a conflict of "filter/stream" and guess what it said, "download nimo."

BTW, i think about 5 minutes ago (yes, MINUTES) they just released a new NIMO package codec for the 4.0 beta 2 release. I don't know wether u got the beta 1 codecs or the beta 2 codecs.

I got the Nimov4.2 ... daaamm.. and Im trying to do the thing with the Avit to see what happens .. but everytime I Open the video . takes a while to open , then it gives me an error.... damm Im furstrated

And by the way Liquid I am having the same kinda problem I installed Divx codec but when I am trying to watch the 1st part,I am waiting about a min till it loads up and then fucks up my computer big time.
The 2nd part works just fine though. Anyway I dunno what to do...
