Woooaaah! Calm down my friend... I'm just making a point. I didn't say he was anywhere. Just mentioned that a lot of DJs travel during one night as I do. During the summer it's normal for me to do it, usually every Friday and Saturday is a double booking. Get's even worse when you go abroad but it doesn't have to be a special occassion. Just depends on how much work you are getting.
Although I have never played in the US (Hope to soon) I imagine that the time zones would open up a lot of opportunities.

I would be very interested to see what comes of this because I have no reason to not beleive either of you (Globalgirl and Borron). I'm pretty sure there is a logical mistake somewhere that's either been lost in the world of posts or something else.

The only big name DJ I can tell you where he was on NYE for sure is Eddie Halliwell. Only because he headlined the club 200 yrds away from the one I played. We actually thought our night would suffer as a result but it didn't make a difference. We had an awesome NYE.

Well, i didn't aw any flyer before the party, so i really can't tell you. But beside the dj booth, there was these 2 large screens which once in a while rotated a name (like the windows screensaver) and it appeared Marcus Schulz many times during a guy's performance.
If he was Marcus or not, i can't really tell, because i don't know/didn't knew him!

my only concern is that if someone is misrepresenting themselves as Markus, well, I do kinda need to know and get to the bottom of it. I'm sure if someone else was running around saying they are Nemesis44 (for example), or even if your name was on a flyer and you weren't actually booked to play, you might want to know about it.

And yes, I understnad the double booking thing. Markus has been booked and is now booked in more than one location on a night. Play, get in the car/plane, drive/fly, play again.......

Just trying to protect my "investment" you might say

Perhaps... But I think you peeps are missing one thing. It is entirely possible for someone to play a new years eve set in a location in Europe and then fly to the US just in time to do the last set in there. This is due to the time difference between the two locations.

And the only actual justification she actually gave by the way, was the fact that she wrote in capitals nothing else.
As I said though, I have no reason to not believe Borron or Globalgirl and it's more than likely that they both speak the truth.
