You guys should SERIOUSLY go. Anyone who has been tempted, should go just for the fact that there is a semi-group starting to form. And to fill you in on the "invisible bubble".....its to pretend that you have a bubble surrounding you to protect you from all of the "scary and scummy" people in the "dungeon". The only thing that can invade this bubble is the dirty sounds amongst you all.
P.S. - dont let the stories and opinions of other people keep you away from this place.....most consistant tunes in all of T.O. |
So true. The Zone gets way too much bad press from people who have never even been there. Jus cause they hear stories about the place, they automatically begin to assume things.
Yeah, it's a dive, but aren't all after hours places like that ? Think about it for a second, even if you have a percentage of people who go there just for the music, there will still be a significant number who are there because they don't want to stop partying, probably don't want to stop doing drugs, and just want a place where they can do both...
The Zone's hardcore, and yes, sometimes a real trip. It's a jungle up in that bitch at 9 o'clock baby, and if you're too afraid to be in the dark you should probably just mosey back on home, eat some cereal and go to sleep...mwhahaha
Oh, and i totally agree with forming a group so you can stake claim to a not-so-sketchy part of the zone (does such a place really exist though ? ) China town is taken, Boy's town is boys town...Juice monkeys have the back, Gangsta's have their pool table area....mmmm, guess that leaves the room to the right which is diverse, and ummmm, oh yeah, the G room at the back. Then again, i don't think anyone really goes there by choice...
Everytime i have gone with a large group, i've had a good time. The bubble is formed by having good people around you...the rest is taken care, courtesy of the sweatbox crew and that flithy sound that the Zone pumps out.
*It's cold outside...the paint peeling off my wall....a Man outside...dark and tall, smoking a ciggerate...Inside my head, all these thoughts rushing through me...Beside myself, nothing left, nothing to me...*
Need to feel, ALIVE....Need to feel, INSIDE....
It's 2004, and i haven't been to the Zone yet...Zone peeps, get a ROLL Call going, cause this soldier is starting to get an itch...
