Alright, this might be a foreign idea, but what if we started partying EARLY!!! Like 8pm or something, I figure cops won't come out til midnight at least. That gives us 4 hours to blast out and then when it get late we could either turn it down or just keep going not giving a s if the cops come.
Just a thought.

wow, the really amazing part about that idea is that it took us this long to think of it. another thing you might want to do is talk to your neighbors, tell them you are having a party, hell you can even invite them to be nice (of course they wont show and if they do they wont stay for more than 5 minutes). Make sure they have your phone # and just tell them that if you get too loud, call you instead of the cops and you'll keep it down. In my experience, if you are nice about it, most people wont call the cops on you untill they have asked you to keep it down allready.

That's a good idea Phil! We did that once for this huge rave party we threw at our friends townhouse for his birthday. Worked out quite nicely. We placed the speakers so that the backs of them faced the neighbors, that way there wouldn't be too much sound leaked.... They were all tech's I have no clue how they did it. If you went into the directly next room you couldn't hear the booming music anymore.

Let's just aim not to blow the speakers.

Man, in someways it'd be better if I still had an apartment, back at my old place if we were loud, the security would come instead of real cops and we took what the told us with a grain of salt. Hell, after they came up so many times, we were down with most of the security people.. I have one incriminating picture of the security guard dancing with some fat girls at our party. .... heh, memories
