Italian is a Latin language, hence placed under "Latino", I guess.
And cut the "Italian people are not Latinos" excuse... we Brazilian aren't Latinos either (we're not Hispanic at all) and we don't mind being considered Latinos. The only reason why the French aren't Latinos is because they eat frogs And Rumanian people are too misplaced |
your wrong about that ...check the term Latino in the dictonary ..has nothing to do with Latin based lanquage ...Latino = Someone that is from Latin America. So Italy, Spain, ect are Europeans and not Latinos....
Hispanic:
Of or pertaining to the language ,people, and culture of Spain,Portugal, or Latin America. An American of Spanish or Latin-American Orgin or descent.
Latino:
A native or inhabitant of Latin America
Latin America:
The countries of the Western Hemisphere south of the United States, especially those speaking Spanish, Portuguese, or French.
so if you follow the webster dictonary i would consider Brazilian a Latino as well as Hispanic
