I like the black ones but I have silver ones. The silver is a much more retro sort of feel. All it needs is some wood panels on the side and it is 1978 all over again

An overpriced limited edition which you can still buy in shops today in the MKII format as they didn't sell all of them.

I know it's all a matter of taste etc so I know not everyone agrees with me... I just think they look horrible that's all.

Silver was what I have because the guy on ebay happened to like silver I guess . I think they look cool either way, but silver just seems more proper for some reason.

The black ones are way better looking imo. The only time I think silver tts look good is whenthey match the the mixer. For example a pair of stanton 100's with a stanton mixer that is silver...

I would have to say the black ones, I love mine, although when super clean the silvers look awesome, but hey aslong as the deck works, who cares?

It doesn't matter, all Technics SL1200s are beautiful!!!!
But i like black over silver, cuz it matches with the other parts of my installation. (Not that I have got these baby's, I have SL23s)
