God damn right!

I don't know what is wrong with the music that Britney is making at the moment.

Come on guys, if you compare "Hit me baby one more time" with Toxic and Me Against The Music, then you can say that those last two songs are much better than the first one. Britney's music is far more intellegent than before and the dance groove that is has, is not definitely bad. Actually, I can believe DJ's like Gabriel and Dresden and James Holden like to remix it....

so comment like "he must have been so bored" is very dumb!

OMG I'm excited to hear about this...

This is kinda surreal in Twin Peaks way... Holden and Spears! Who woulda thunk it! Well, that's one up to Mr. Holden for me -- he's actually being a rebel by remixing Britney eh I can't wait to see his "fans" accuse him of selling out to the "commercial market"... LOL...

Totally agree. If I listen to it, and I like it -- I like it.

That's the bottom line.

I'm listening to a clip of this Holden-Spears mix right now...

It sounds a lot like Moroder?

i would agree with toxic, but "hit me baby", no way, the max martin (& the rest of cheiron-crew) produced stuff is way better than me againt the music or any of that neptunes produced stuff, don't get me wrong, i like the neptunes, but it was uhhm sorta not good

I can seriously say this is the worst James Holden production ever. Not even James Holden can make Britney Spears sound good I guess.

Sounds like some whack disco house track on this "TOTAL DANCE HITS" albums on tv

Toxic Remix...

I hate to admit it, but I LOVE toxic...it's such a good song. I hate Britney and take solace in the fact that she does not write her own music, but I'll admit that I stop and listen when I hear Toxic...I heard Dj Montana drop a mix of Toxic at club space during the Kremlin party thrown during WMC. It was really good...I wouldnt doubt that James Holden would remix a song like that one, so maybe it is...

"disco"? There's the Moroder factor ! The bassline to this, and other notable tracks over the years like "King of Snake" by Underworld, and oh yeah... that cheeky Plump DJ's remix of what was one of ol' Giorgio's tunes in the first place (I think the bassline is the same, maybe beefed up, but the beats are stacked and new) are all tied together that way. But I think it's the first time I've seen "Club Mix" in a James Holden track title.

E-vangelist: I like Toxic a lot too, and the video. I like the music because it's catchy and fun, and am not disliking it simply because peer pressure from elitists tell me otherwise. Isn't that rebellious ? Hahaha. I think Holden's remix is of "Breathe On Me" -- I'm not too familiar with the original.
