Personally even when I was only smoking a couple of times a week, I did notice some subtle effects. Just a slight increase in general dopeyness, and slightly decreased motivation. That was enough for me to decide to cut down even further. About a month down the track I didn't feel any side effects. Personally I think taking any drug is a learning experience, because it forces open certain facets of your personality that you didn't even know were there and get to know them. I know a lot of guys that were shy and quiet, then they took eccies a couple of times and ever since they've been all flambouyant and extroverted, the experience of having their inhibitions lowered forcefully by the drug made them realise that they have an outgoing personality inside them. |
Of course there are going to be special cases, but on the whole, the majority of people aren't goign to get any side-effects. And on your friends, people can change there personalities randomly throughout their life. I was shy and quiet until 11th grade and in a couple of days or two I just decided to be more out-going. Or maybe somehow they got an ego-boost that contributed to that. Or they realized that they (while they were high) had this out going personality that they had been supressing. There are many factors to consider. But I am talking about serious things like memory lose etc...
