Actually this is exactly what he said in his first dvd, Another Day At The Office. He is into this music and mixes for himself. The fact that people love it is an added bonus for him. This is the way Dj's should operate. Spin for yourself, if people like what they hear, all the more power to ya

its great if he wants to do that (and dont get me wrong, im a huge tiesto fan) but if hes concerned about "i do this for myself" then maybe he shouldnt be making commercially-oriented tracks to begin with + tiesto in concert etc

I can sort of understand this. On the one had I think it is lame because Tiesto remade this song just as much as Ferry "remade" it in his remix. But then on the other hand I assume he is paying for the rights do use it anyway so why not stick his name on it? Orbit probably does not have the authority to license it to Tiesto anyway.

Whatever, I think it should be called Barber - Adagio For Strings [Tiesto Remix] or maybe instead of Barber even Samuel Barber... But when did I what I think matter anyway

kinda a bit off topic, i was just bored the other day browsing through channels and i stumbled across a orchestra channel so i just listened for a bit then boom like 10 minutes in they do a live performance of Adagio For Strings... hehe thought this was interesting since i was ALWAYS wanting a orchestra to play this song.

I can definately see Tiesto releasing this sometime soon.
