There are prolly no kurdish ministers in Syria, but hey:
1-The French accepted them in Syria when they occupied Syria
2-If we didnt really want them 2 have rights, we wouldnt have let the 1.8 milion kurds get syrian nationalities (+syrian rights). The 200,000 remaining are not "official syrians" not because the gov't didnt let them, but because they refuse to. why? because they dont think Syria is their country, yet, they're in the country, reproduce and live their life. I have talked to some Kurds since i've been in the areas and A LOT of the answers i get when i ask them why they dont get syrian nationalities are: Because we dont want to serve in the Syrian army and because it isnt our country. Well, doh! leave then!
3-The syrians gave them weapons - the weapons they are now using were provided by the Syrian army.
4-Basically, it's the changes in Iraq that triggered all those movements (this is my opinion and the opinion of a lot of other ppl)

also, geographically speaking, most of "Kurdistan" is in Turkey and Irak.

If you read some news, you'll notice that the Kurds aer brutally repressed in Turkey where they form more or less 25% of the population (anywhere between 15 to 20 millions). THATS where is Kurdistan...

but knowing how proud the Turks are, they would fight it till the last one standing before giving any rights to the Kurds. Also its really convinient that they are an US-Israeli prime ally, one of the reason why you barely hear about this Kurdish-Turkish problem.

So please, keep your palestinian-israeli comparaisons to yourself and put them where I think they belong.

About the Philistine thing... i think your post exlpained why the palestinians are more entitled to the land called Palestine than the jews to Israel...


The Palestinians (whatever their background) that were in Palestine in 1948 obviously survived all those wars and killings you are talking about, they are on these lands for centuries (be it they have philistine, arab, aramean, european etc... blood)

what has been unfair is the decendants of those defeated jews that have fled Palestine/Judea to save their own life from this or that historical conflict now land some thousand years later and claim these lands as always been theirs...

GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK... thats just ridiculous and the source of the conflicts in the middle east.

That is the problem I have with Israel, WHITE/CAUCASIAN people coming there and claiming that land as theirs.

Eastern European Jews converted to Judaism in 900AD....they hardly have a direct genetic lineage t biblical hebrews..who were by the way....an Indigenous middle eastern population.

even trying to explain a justification for that land by claiming the diasporic theory is just funny.

First of all, the Jewish population of Israel contains not just Jews from Eastern Europe but Jews from northern Africa as well as Jews from middle Asia, Jews that came from countries like Iraq, Iran, India and such. How do you explain the fact that they are Jews as well and share the same nationality, religion and even the same appearance as Jewish people form Eastern Europe?

And one more thing. This doesn’t have anything to do with religion, you must understand that most of the Jews living in Israel are really passive about the whole religion thing. The Jews don't just share the same religion but they also share the same nationality.
That maybe the reason for all the anti-Semitism the Jewish nation had to go through for generations, no matter where they lived or what they did to cover their identity they could never become apart of the nation they were living in, because they already had a nationality, the Jewish nationality.
When the Zionists decided to create a country for the Jewish people Israel wasn’t their only consideration, it had nothing to do with the religious connection to this land. They just wanted the Jewish nation to have their own land where they could be free of the anti-Semitism and the hatred, where they could become united.
