all these expensive brand name clothing that people are wearing...

how in the hell do you afford all these nice clothes?

(except for the people that obviously have a full-time job, i guess im directing my question to TAs in college and/or high school) Do your parents give you a credit card or buy your stuff? i've been buying my own clothes since the start of high school.. but i've never really saved my money to buy a $60 t-shirt or something like that

I like brand clothes, not to flashy though.

I usually wear a Paul & Shark sweater with a Paul & Shark pique underneath.
- Gardeur/Brax pants
- Dahlin shoes
- Paul & Shark jacket

My closet mostly consists of those, pluss some Pringle, Valentino, Cerruti 1881, Wolsey, Lacoste, Hugo Boss, Armani and Berlington.

At summer I like wearing a slipover with a pique underneath (preferably pink )

exactly. love this guy's style.

Ben sherman, armani x, abercrombie, lacoste, puma track jackets and shoes, no cargo pants though, i stick to jeans and shorts, Rvca, Volcom Industry(not skate, surf - industry. they promote street/urban clothing compared to volcom skate/surf), billabong button-downs, VON ZIPPER<--best hats, paul frank, h & m, diesel, any stuff from urban outfitters or other urban designer.

About sandals though, fuck the flip-flops, shitty plastic shits. Rainbow sandals all the way(best leather sandals ever). I have like 3 different pairs because I love them so much. Living in HB, their the local favs. If you say screw sandals, well i'm sorry everyone here wears them, why? because we live proximity to the beach, and their easier to wear then shoes. Why the hell not? Sandals are more comfortable, i can see people that live in butt-fuck nowhere get aggitated by people wearing sandals, but here it's accustom.

I still sport trucker hats, nothing wrong with them, seeing that they look better then baseball caps or most beanies. I still like von dutch hats but I bought them before they were 70$ a freakin' hat.

People who bitch about clothing being expensive - What do you spend your money on? Vinyl? CDs(laugh), DVDs? stuff in general? Well, I don't collect anything or have anything I really invest in, but I do love clothes. Just making outfits is one the most fun parts about shopping. I hate to say it, but i'm a metrosexual(if you don't know what it is, don't bother trying to make some obsense remark). My old girlfriend says dressing is part vanity, part art. It's true, but it's not too hard unless you have some odd color sense.

I guess you either have to work for your clothes, or cash from the rents works as well. But to me, when you buy clothes it's permanent. It's good investment if it makes you content with your look. It's true that some people who do splurge into clothes are most of the time, privileged when it comes to cash. But clothing doesn't have to cost you that much if you buy your clothes periodically, if you just have like 6-7 outfits with a few different shirts/jackets/hats to rotate in your color schemes/clothing styles. If your really into one sort of style, then just stick to it and It really doesn't cost too much to spend on everyday clothes. Just think of it as a permanent investment.

Shoes: Tommy Hilfiger, Pepe Jeans, Nike
Jeans: Levi's, Liberto, Pepe Jeans, Pull&Bear...
Jerseys/Sweaters: Ralph Lauren (Polo), Pepe Jeans, Liberto, Adidas, Volper...
T-shirts: Lacoste, Levi's, Pull&Bear t-shirts, Adidas, Kappa...

I don't care a lot about brands but I usually buy them cause the brand clothes are made with more quality materials and efficent process so in general these clothes are more hard-wearing. i prefer pay a bit more and have more hard-wearing clothes

I have seriously never found better shirts then Ben Shirman. They are amde in Italy (i think), and are quite expensive for that reason, but they have the nicest material and the nicest cut.

i <3 them
