i agree, but since a forum of this nature is still in test phase (in the Toronto section, if i'm correct), a sticky thread will have to do for now.

I just wanna note that this is getting pathetic now, and there may be an easier solution for the time being.

ie - A Rule that ALL radio shows whether by amateur dj's, pro's or Mods can ONLY be promoted in the DJ section, which is a fitting enough section anyway, and when someone wants to know who's on the radio, again they can just view that forum. It's killing music discussion having posts about shows on at what is for some people obscure times of the day or hearing 4 or 5 days in advance about a new show that someone is going to put on, then seeing the thread blatantly bumped from time to time. It also is fairer to all of the people who already use that DJ section and may well bring more traffic who don't usually visit those sites to check out everyones mixes from there. It wouldn't take much work imo for a sticky to be made informing ne1 who posted in MD about a show that it would just be moved to the DJ section and also for the Mods to actually move such threads, I know some do more than others, but if they can't keep on top of 2-3 a day posts then they need a kick up the arse

This is a good idea.

If the Mod moved ALL the radio threads to the Dj forum it would actually make people visit that forum and give it some respect.

All the mods have to do is :

1)Post a sticky warning in the music discusion

2) Move all radio thread to the DJ forum.

Very Simple.

BTW I can help police this if you give me the authority or power to move threads.

Cheers.

yes it is very simple...when we have the forum.. swamper is making the forum, but it wont be ur average run of the mill forum, it'll all be automatically coded and stuff so it'll be alot better than having it all manual. ill bug him on msn later about it and try and get an update on its progress.

people need to remember the guy has alot to do with the site, and a life to fit in somewhere too.

there will be no more mod additions for the new forum. we have more than enough mods to cover the new forum.

the new forum will be modded by the current mods who wish to take on more.
