the only advice I can give for that car is, keep it looking fairly stock, although the front kinda gives it away, but just tell them its a huge radiator cos you like to keep your car chilled.

Its my friend Jeff's car. He put together a twin turbo motor including a complete rebuild in under a week. He hasnt had it Dyno'd but he's pushing over 300 HP. Still not as fast as the single turbo motor he built which put down 427 HP on the dyno. He keep it beater looking and he runs in the 11's consisantly on slicks.

he is pushing 11 PSI at 8500 RPM, the first turbo spools at 2500.

Friday everything was in and running, it ran like complete shit at first, Oil was coming out of

the turbos really bad, coolant was blowing out of the back of the block, and I had 2 foot flames

coming out of the downpipe. OMG, hahah

Anyways the o-ring seal on the back of the block (tube that runs to the water pump blew out) So

after replacing that twice.. it was fixed. And the the oil was because the dipstick wasnt in,

!~!!!!! The PR3 map I had a real heavy enrichment at cold startup so I dont think it liked it.

Completed.... =) Saturday Morning, I wanted to get this thing done for a local honda-tech meet,

and for some local street racers saying that I was talking bullshit about a TT setup. You should

of seen the peoples faces at the honda-tech meet. One guy asked "Who brand manifold is that" I

told him it was a Drag Gen 7 beta 2b. rofl

Yes, it fits, Yes it runs.. The questions Is it fast? I'd say so. Honestly, I've never had a

turbo setup sound like this. It sounds really werid, almost like my Buddies Rotary. I've drove

lots of turbo hondas open DP, but nothing like this. Boost comes in incredibly fast, way faster

than I thought. Spools 5psi around 2800rpms, and holds 7psi all the way to 8300. When the ITR

cams kick in, the thing gets pretty wild. I'm running my old ls/vtec turbo spark & fuel map.

Seems to be running pretty good but needs lots of minor adjustments. Coolant leaks probably that

(coughusedheadgasketcough) and the oil leaks from the return pretty bad. Thats what you get

when you flatrate shit.

Btw heres the mod list..

B18a/B16a Ls/vtec (stock)
YS1 Tranny
ACT Xtreme PP w/ a worn GSR disc
ITR Camshafts
GSR Intake Valve Springs (duel valve springs) Intake/Exhaust

Zdyne Gold SECU
GM 3bar Map sensor
2 IHI RHb5 Turbos (subaru)
Tyrus FMIC (custom)
Tial 50mm BOV

Why are you going to dump 10-15 grand into your car when you don't even want to spend above $200/wheel? Instead you're going to put some heavy ass 18" wheel on it that will decrease acceleration and gas milage (slightly).

Remember this saying when you purchase anything for your car: You get what you pay for.

Man your buddy knows his stuff, thats really impressive, when looking at the first picture, I thought I saw 2 turbos, but wasn't sure, was thinking "naa whos gonna put a TT on a I4", but your guy pulled it off, I checked the list of mods, but unless I missed something, didn't he put in new rods or change the compression ratio?, or does that change when you do the b18a/b16a swap?, its just surprising that it can run that and keep the stock internals, but I hope he keeps up the good work, glad he hasn't blown anything while tuning, so many people destroy the engine in the tuning process.

Oh and glad to hear hes keeping it looking fairly stock, I would just give it a nice colour, and then some nice light racing rims.

**starts drooling**

I was supposed to hang out with him at a party last weekend after PvD, but due to unforseen circumstances the party ended before i could get there.

I remember when he was freeway pulling against an R6 and was winning then cracked a sleeve in his engine. That was the 11 sec engine too. LoL in the parking lot at a track with a flashlight and a few tools pulling the head at 2 AM. that was a great sight.

hey man, thanks for the link, I really enjoyed reading that, love reading anything like this, I would really love to work on engines, but I hate the whole electrical crap to do with it, which is funny cos I'm good with electronics and enjoy messing with them and I like building custom computers and modding them, but I ain't done that in awhile.

but for me, electronics shouldn't be on engines, but what can you do.

electronics shouldnt be on engines Fuel injection is a gooood thing buddy. Ask any race engine builder if he would prefer carb or fuel injected. Also, with all the sensors, your computer can fine tune the air/fuel mixture so it constantly switches between rich and lean for the cat to work properly... blah blah the list goes on and on.
