Call up the Apple store in Yorkdale. They have a number of different earbuds/headphones including Shure, Bang & Olufsen's etc. I have the B&O A8's and still love them even though I miss the in-the-ear kind. I used to use the Sony ex-70's back over 4 years ago when I first got an Ipod and absolutely loved them.

If I do go back to work again and have to take the Go-train I'm definitely investing in a pair of Shures.

I dunno how anyone is willing to spend such ludicrous amounts of money on earbuds. I researched a bit, and ended up getting the Creative EP-630 (http://www.creative.com/products/pr...1&product=11397) headphones for just about 40 bucks. They're sound isolating, and sound tons better than standard headphones. Considering they look identical to the Sennheiser CX 300s (http://reviews.cnet.com/Sennheiser_...31727753-2.html), I'm willing to bet my left pinky both the Sennheisers and the Creatives are made in the same factory in China. Botttom line, the Shures may still be marginally better, but at the prices those things are going, I don't care.

I was looking at those as well. Many reviewers found the cords on them to be far too frail and would break over time.
