No ......unless you're really into psy/goa. True, we've had PVD, Sasha, Judge Jules and Lee Burridge come down here over the last year and a half, but all those shows were used as 'brand promotion' by bacardi and smirnoff - passes were given out to 'select' groups of people and were not put on sale for the general public (WTF!!???). The only exception was the PVD show, where tix were sold to anyone who wanted to buy them. I didn't get to see Burridge, but I saw the other shows and considered them sub-standard compared to what these guys should be putting out. I guess they were 'dumbing down' for the Indian audience - 99% of whom were seeing these guys for the first time - and collecting an easy paycheck in the process. I guess I'm lucky that I got to live in L.A. for quite a while, and get to go back every now and them, otherwise I wouldn't have a clue either. There is a huge potential for selling trance over here - I just hope event promoters and record companies over here get a clue and start goin' about it the right way.
