Caucasus oil was and is pumped through Russia.
As for Iraqi oil, there is no way to pipe it to Afghanistan unless you want to pay Iran, Pakistan and India for transit
I think i was sleeping or something,... its the oil from the Caspian sea which will pass thru Turkmenistan (US influenced banana republic) then afghanistan then Pakistan... and I also think that there might be some important petroluem potential in central asia.
the US doesn't want the petrol to go thru Russia for sure...
as for the petrol of iraq, its now passing by thru Jordan to Israel and to Turkey I think.
yeah i definitely think israel is teaming up with the us on this one.

A pipeline that didn't work for almost 50 years is, now, back in business but you don't hear about it...

In Iraq there are patriots who will burn oil for a cause and there is an organized crime that will protect oil for its own interests. While they are fighting, US make money. Same scenario applies to other countries.

we are slowly seeing the Saudis loosing ranks in the US's "top friendly nations".
The americans want to reduce as much as possible their dependence on Saudi oil and this would be achieved by reopening the doors to Iraqi oil, and developping the caucasian/central asian petroluem fields.
