It's funny people here defend pure epic trance crap (paul van dyke, three drives, energy 52, etc, etc) when somebody says it sucks.
Who knows what would happen if I tried to say that it was not really part of trance and to group it with trance is an insult to the REAL artists in trance.
Yet whenever I try to point out the truth (that hip hop is electronic music rather you like it or not) you claim its not and that it is an insult to group it in electronic music.
Is your only reason for hating hiphop because of the lyrics about killing? What about industrial music which has had a MAJOR influence on the trance genre and some of the same killing in the lyrics etc.
Just please shut your mouth.
Thank you that is all.

Is funny cause Energy 52, three drives were, actually, one of the first trance artists back in the early 90's, that just got remixed on the explosion of 98,99. And fromt that site that you showed.. please.. that guy is totally Clueless in many aspects when it comes to classifying. There's NO WAY hip hop can be considered part of electronic music. Hip Hop/Rap is got it's whole issue of the underground and commercialized just as Electronic Dance. Although, I say that Hip Hop has it's roots from the Funky sounds back in the days..IF Im not mistaken, but to go and call it under EDM.. I think it would also be an offense to those that are actually HIP HOP followers, so either way, you will get your point disaproved by any of the two genres...
