Hey now, i resent that. Sure im only 20 and been listening to edm for about two years, but as soon as i stumbled onto Markus, i knew this was pure talent. hell i wouldnt be listening to progressive if it wasnt for him. Plus all his remixes are gold. he gives a special touch and turns into something more than it was. a good example is the satellite and sahara rmx .

How did this turn from markus's album to davepiazza (who is an armin asskisser and markuswhore) and the other markus whores kissing his ass. I'm sure markus loves to have people enjoy his music but kissing his ass, I'm sure he can't stand.

Reality Check Time

Sasha PWNS markus (always will be, nothing will change that, in deejaying, production and all around nutter)
Schulz's sound is not like no other, it sounds so ASOT to me at times (so it's not original)
Far too intelligent, I don't agree on that either (Markus is an intelligent person but his music I find is the same mold, not as expansive as it used to be years ago)
You are the average voting listening (anyone is, who listens to Armin or Markus, you buy into the hype, commercial hits yup)

so go back and find some more innovative music, then you can talk.

Red face ouch

that's pretty harsh... meh, each to his own i suppose. in retrospect it isn't exactly fair to compare Sasha to Schulz, so i'm not going to get into that. when you say that Schulz sounds "so ASOT" you surely can't be talking about his own productions... i don't mean GDJB, sometimes it can sound similar to ASOT, but that is understandable. you see, artists like Armin and Schulz get their promos first, that's for certain. Armin gets to play on thursday and Schulz plays 3 days later on monday in the a.m.

w/e, i just wanted some info on the album; this isn't an artist comparison/ass-kissing thread.

i don't consider myself to be a Markus Schulz ass-kisser anyway... i love his music and he's my favorite artist, that's pretty much it.

Bwahahaha.
Schulz produces and spins prog for the armchair TA's. Boring, generic and dull. All the emotion and the energy is completely lost whenever he gets his hands on something.

McProg at its finest. It feeds your hunger but 30 minutes later you're hungry again.

tho sidenote, I doubt markus cares that much, he is getting lots of gigs, tons of listeners and making mo money.

Which means he's gaining a bigger fan base by the day and becoming immensely popular. Wouldn't that make him good also? Hmm...I don't understand about comparisons with other DJ's-that need's be thrown out the door. Markus is a solid mixer, absolutely solid, and as for his productions, they're not so shabby either. I think you and the few others that agree with your opinion are quite the minority here and everywhere else for that matter...

Bigger fan base just means more people listen to that person, it does not mean that person is any good. Look at tiesto, horrible mixer, horrible dj and yet the #1 in the djmag poll, does that mean I should listen to him because the world whores him? I don't care if I'm in the minority, I'll express my opinion anyway. If you want to listen to McProg, go ahead, be my guest but I'm not going to.
