and you may take 15 years over it to pay everything back, and you have to pay 45 euro each month minimum, 3.2% intrest each year i think.

isn't it something like that in the USA also?

In AUstralia, your uni is subsidised by taxpayers, but you still have to pay some. This is called HECS, but you can put off the repayments until you reach a certain level of income (around $35000 i think)

yea, here you have to pay while you're in school, but you only pay the interest (which is around 3% usually), my payment is around $80 a month right now, i still have two years left. 3% on 15k per year can add up! i believe you have to start paying the full amount 6 months after you graduate or quit school.
